sue malone
Sue Malone is a registered UKCP psychotherapist, an accredited therapist with the British Association of Sexual &
Relationship Therapists (BASRT), a BASRT recognised supervisor and a member of the British Association of
Counselling & Psychotherapy (MBACP).
She has nearly 30 years clinical experience within the NHS and private sectors. Like her colleagues, she has been an
advocate of integrating sexual and relationship therapy with appropriate medical approaches and interventions. She trained originally with the Westminster Pastoral Foundation, with subsequent training in family therapy and cognitive behavioural therapy.
Her professional commitments include membership of BASRT'S Conference Committee and its Professional & Public
Relations Committee. She is a Trustee of Alton's Counselling Service, and Trainer and Advisor to medical staff at
Solent Healthcare Contraception & Sexual Health.
Her special interests are male and female sexual functioning, working with disability, couples and addictions.
